I’ve created this blog for the purpose of gathering with other “Lone” parents out there.  A Lone parent is one who is raising a child or children all by themselves without financial, emotional or physical assistance from the other biological parent.  I call this “Lone” parenting because there are a lot of parents out there who receive child support, their kids go off with the other parent every other weekend, Wednesday and Friday evenings, and then call themselves “single” parents.  No.  This would be co-parenting. 

This blog is for people doing it alone.  All alone.  I’m not bitter, angry or pissed off.  I’m just tired, broke and very lucky to have such a wonderful kid in my life. 

I wanted to start this blog to share ideas, tips, funny stories, not-so-funny stories, and maybe help each other out with words of encouragement and the occasional “snap out of it” comments when needed.   Being my son’s mom is the hardest job I’ve ever loved.  It has been a journey I wouldn’t trade for any amount of money in the world.  That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
